Bojo:  How long have you guys been together?
Chris:  4 and a half years.
Bojo:  How many records have you made?
Chris:  2 CDs, 8-7 inches, 1-10”, 1-5” record and too many compilations to remember or list.  We have a new CD coming out on Nov.

Bojo:  Why do you guys have such an obsession with PEZ?
Chris:  The obsession is basically Vinnie and Roger’s.  Our roadie, Shaun, loves PEZ equally as much.  Vinnie has 250 dispensers
right now and his collection is constantly growing.
Bojo:  Most people call you guys ska/punk.  Do you classify your music as ska/punk, or do you call it something else?
Chris:  We are a metal band.  Plain and simple.  I’m a metalhead.  Please tell people that metal will be back.
Bojo:  Where did the name “Less Than Jake” come from?
Chris:  Vinnie’s parents used to have an English bulldog named Jake.  They used to feed red lobster to Jake while Vinnie would get
fed grilled cheese.  For years Vinnie was “Less Than Jake.”
Bojo:  How often do you guys practice?
Chris:  When we’re home from tour, about 3 or 4 nights a week.
Bojo:  What venues do you like better, all ages, or over 21?
Chris:  All ages - fuck over 21 shows!!
Bojo:  What other bands have influenced you?
Chris:  Quiet Riot, Ratt, Circle Jerks, Snuff, Keel, Krokus, Santanta, Bob Seger, Napalm Death.
Bojo:  What band would you like to play with the most?
Chris:  Slayer.
Bojo:  How’d you guys meet?
Chris:  I’ve known Vinnie since high school.  We both came to Gainsville to go to college at the University of Florida.  This is where
we met the rest of the band.
Bojo:  Who writes most of the songs?  Is it a group thing or more of an individual thing?
Chris:  Roger and I usually write the music and Vinnie writes the lyrics.  The horn players write their parts as well.
Bojo:  What are the best shows you’ve played?
Chris:  Shows where guys have thrown their shit stained underwear on stage.
Bojo:  Where do you see yourselves in the future?
Chris:  Hopefully playing music and having fun doing it.
